One had a magnitude of 3.9 at 7:56 a.m. and the second was 3.1 at 10:23 a.m. There was also an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 centered near Medford, Okla. around 11:10 a.m. All three were felt in Wellington, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.Emergency management officials in south-central Kansas say there were no reports of damage from the series of small earthquakes that shook Sumner County.The U.S. Geological Survey says two of the quakes were centered southeast of Conway Springs.People on Facebook reported that the first one sounded like a “sonic boom.” Others reported they didn’t feel a thing.Follow us on Twitter.last_img read more
