Nimba Coach Outlines Plans for County Meet

first_imgAs National County Sport Meet draws near, Nimba County football coach Muta Fofana has outlined plans to strengthen the Nimba County Squad comes this year’s national sports festival.Speaking to the Daily Observer in an exclusive interview in Ganta on August 14, he said the technical staff has decided to vet 70 players, including 20 who played for the county in the last tournament, including new players who were selected from the just ended district league. He said from the vetting process, 25 players will be selected to represent the county during the county meet which is expected to kick off late this year.Coach Muta boasted of victory and explained that the Nimba County Meet Steering Committee is putting resources together to enable the team achieve its’ goal. “In order to capture the coming trophy, we organized a district league representing 9 electoral districts of Nimba County where we were able to select 50 players for final vetting,” Coach Muta said.In the last County Meet, Nimba County under Coach Muta Fofana came second after losing the final to Grand Bassa on 2 – 1.Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)last_img read more
